Hi, I’m Emma - the heart behind ColLab Pet Photography.

I’m lucky to call the North East of England home, where I live with my husband and our two much-loved dogs, a clever Collie and a lovable Labrador. They’re my everyday inspiration, my furry chaos coordinators, and the reason I fell head over paws in love with pet photography.

ColLab Pet Photography was born from the simple joy of capturing genuine, heartfelt moments between pets and their people. I know just how much our animals mean to us - they’re family, they’re therapy, they’re our little soulmates with tails. That’s why I put my heart into every session: to tell the story of your bond through natural, personality-filled images.

For the Ones Who Leave Paw Prints on Our Hearts

Growing up, dogs were always a part of my life. Our family dogs, Sheba and Heidi, left paw prints on my heart that will never fade. Sheba was a gentle soul, but sadly, we have very few photos of her - something I deeply regret. When Heidi came into our lives, I made sure to capture every moment I could, especially during her final weeks, which she spent by my side. Even though I knew our time together was coming to an end, photographing her allowed me to hold on to those memories - her expressions, her presence, the quiet comfort she brought. Those images mean everything to me now. They remind me why I do what I do: to help others preserve the love, joy, and connection they share with their pets, before the moment becomes a memory.
